Houseflipping.

Church was really great this morning (despite the fact of being 20 min late and missing half of worship haha) God still taught me things! Duh! So the first thing is: I had this vision, well, actually, a word came to my mind and it was: "houseflipping". I don't know if you guys know what the is, but pretty much, a person finds a dirty, grimy old house (the ones that no one wants to buy), moves in (or practically moves in cuz they do so much work on it), and restores the whole thing to make it sell-able. they fix it up and make it pretty on the inside and out. Well, when God made that word come to my mind, He immediately made me associate it with what HE does to people. He finds the dirty, grimy people, moves into their hearts and fixes them up. He inhabits their hearts, works on them day and night, and makes their hearts beautiful and renewed. Seriously, this is the coolest thing ever to me. God gave me an easy comparison to share with others when I am trying to talk to people about Jesus. Everyone can relate to a dirty house that no one wants. Sometimes even we feel dirty and like no one wants us. But all we need is for God to move into our hearts and clean us up. It's not just the first time either, its an everyday thing, because sin is real and we all sin, and so everyday God moves into our hearts and cleans us up :)

Not your ordinary houseflipping. BETTER!
