This week was fun. We split the class up into two groups and for one half of class went out side and took self portraits. We told them their faces didn't necessarily have to be in them, so we told them to take pictures of things that represent them. Some kids took pics of their shoes, shadows, the football field, ect. We also told them that a self portrait doesn't have to be taken by themselves, that they could ask someone else to take it for them, as long as they decided where they were standing and all that jazz. This resulted in a photo shoot :) The second half of class we taught them about diptychs (two photos put together that might tell a story)... and they were pretty uninterested, but we got through the lesson and everyone was happy.
