In my printmaking class we carved and printed blocks of wood that were 7 feet by 40 inches! It took about three weeks to carve and in the end, after it got steamrolled over, we have a great piece of art to hang up! The theme of me and my partner's print was "island in the sun" like the weezer song, so we have a bunch of people partying near and island and some other fun things going on. It was a pretty fun project!
